It is the most tender thing Brooker has made, and the least comfortable. 'White Bear' is pure psychological horror with a payoff that reorients the entire episode. 'The Waldo Moment' - a cartoon character running for Parliament - looks prophetic in retrospect. At 87% RT it represents a slight dip from Series 1's near-perfect reception, but 'Be Right Back' alone justifies the season's existence.
