What BollyAI Thinks

Season 6 is divisive and deliberately so. Don is cheating again, self-sabotaging again, and the season asks whether the audience's patience with a man constitutionally incapable of change is itself a kind of complicity. The Vietnam backdrop and the 1968 setting give the season its most explicitly political texture. 'The Crash' (Ep 8) is a deliberately disorienting experiment; 'In Care Of' (the finale) is harrowing. Critics who found the season repetitive weren't wrong - Weiner seemed to be testing whether the repetition was the point.

Season Over Season

Season 6 risks feeling circular; it earns that circularity in the finale but the journey taxes patience more than any prior season.
